For the second time, a delegation of the Korean Electricity Corporation (KEPCO), the largest electricity producer and distributor in South Korea, visited JSC “Khmelnytskoblenergo”.
Planning to implement SMART GRID project in the Khmelnytsky region, Korean specialists, accompanied by representatives of company’s top management, got acquainted with the condition, structural features of the transmission lines and transformer substations of various voltage classes at Starokostyantyniv REG. This particular area of power grids of JSC "Khmelnytskoblenergo" was chosen as the future "pioneer" in the world of modern technologies of accounting and auditing of electric power.
As noted by Senior Manager of KEPCO Mr. Kim Hiong Re, the Korean specialists already have a strategic vision of the next steps towards SMART GRID implementation at the JSC “Khmelnytskoblenergo”. Both parties expressed their hope for further successful cooperation.
