In 2020 Khmelnytskoblenergo contributed almost 0.5 billion UAH to the state budget in taxes and dividends

Khmelnytskoblenergo paid about 0.5 billion UAH to Ukraine’s state budgets during 2020 in the form of taxes and fees. Khmelnytskoblenergo paid to the state 494.435 million UAH for the tax period of 2020. This is an increase of 22.3% compared to the 2019 figure of 404.4 million UAH.

Breaking down the total, 356.667 million UAH was made up of VAT and income tax. 8.7 million UAH was transferred directly to local budgets, and 129.12 million UAH was paid in 2020 for the single social contribution and other payments.

«Khmelnytskoblenergo is one of the largest employers in the region, as well as one of the largest taxpayers to both state and local budgets. Therefore, social responsibility and contributing to local budgets are among our most important priorities», commented Acting General Director of Khmelnytskoblenergo, Mr. Oleg Kozachuk.

As reported, in 2020 Khmelnytskoblenergo generated a net profit of 146 million UAH, an increase of 70.3% compared to 2019. The net income of Khmelnytskoblenergo in 2020 amounted to 1.731 billion UAH, against 1.383 billion UAH in 2019.

In 2020 therefore the net income increased by 25.1% year on year.
