Mayor Vasyl Sydor, being extremely concerned about the dismissal of Oleg Kozachuk from his post as head of Khmelnytskoblenerho and the content of the article "Who is hindered by the stable work of Khmelnytskoblenerho?" in the newspaper Voice of Ukraine on May 26, 2020, addressed appropriate letters to the head of the Khmelnytsky Regional State Administration (D. Gabinet) and the State Property Fund of Ukraine, where he expressed his position on this issue.
“Having read the article “Who is hindered by the stable work of Khmelnytskoblenerho?” in the newspaper Golos Ukrainy I am extremely concerned about the situation and express my position on this issue.
Oleg Kozachuk, as the head of Khmelnytskoblenergo (Khmelnytsk region electricity distribution system operator (DSO) and during the joint work with Slavutych City Council has established himself as one of the best professionals in the field of energy, a responsible person, a persistent manager, and trusted advisor.
Thanks to his fruitful work, investments have been attracted to the region, network grids are built and replaced, and quality services are provided for the population without interruption.
After objectively assessing the situation around the dismissal of Kozachuk and from the content of this article, I consider these moves to be unfair and ask not to allow the dismissal of Oleg Kozachuk from the position of head of Khmelnytskoblenergo.
