During the two days, February 26th, 27th, leading specialists of PJSC "Khmelnytskoblenergo" are working closely with representatives of the Korean Electricity Corporation (KEPCO).
KEPCO is South Korea's largest electricity producer and distributor, and has significant experience in building SMART GRID.
The main issue of the meeting of specialists is the technical aspects of the construction of "smart" grids, the definition of necessary components and their functions. Korean specialists have demonstrated specialized software that provides the accumulation and processing of metering data, schemes of interaction between different system modules and network components. In the form of active discussion, the topical issues concerning the practical implementation of the "smart" grid in Ukraine, the effectiveness of such grids in other countries were talked about.
The representatives of PJSC "Khmelnytskoblenergo" were impressed with the feasibility of metering devices and a wide range of data, which is being concentrated within the data management system.
Both sides expressed their hope for further mutually beneficial cooperation, because the construction of "smart" grids will provide the improvement of the quality of services provided to the consumers, reduction of electricity losses, and optimization of interaction processes with the consumers in general.
