One of the first steps scheduled at the Smart Grid Committee meeting that was recently held within the Korean-Ukrainian Smart Grid Forum was the visit to PJSC “Khmelnytskoblenergo” of the Director of Commercial Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea Mr. Yoo Seoungho, the General Director of the KEPCO Department Mr. Young Seop Lee, the Vice-President of the AMS-Tech company Mark Hong and the Senior manager of KEPCO TaiSun Won.
During the visit to PJSC “Khmelnytskoblenergo”, the Korean power engineers were able to visit the Starokostyantyniv REG, where the pilot project of the AMI system implementation is planned to be held, to see the condition of the regional grids, equipment used in the Company, the samples of transformer substations 10 / 0.4 kV and means of electric energy accounting.
Korean colleagues also noted the positive achievements of PJSC "Khmelnytskoblenergo”, got acquainted with the billing system of household and legal entity consumers in Yarmolyntsi REG and visited the Kamyanets-Podilsky REG.
By the results of the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation in the implementation of Smart Grid technologies on the base of PJSC “Khmelnytskoblenergo” in order to reduce TLE and to ensure the reliable uninterrupted supply of electricity to the consumers of the Company.
