Khmelnytskoblenergo Public Joint Stock Company (PJSC) is Khmelnytsk region electricity distribution system operator (DSO), 70% of the shares of which belong to the state, doubled its profit in 2019 to 85.7 million UAH compared to 42.80 million UAH in 2018.
This was reported by the press service of the enterprise, quoting Acting General Director Oleg Kozachuk. According to him, at the regular meeting of shareholders of the company (to be held on April 30, 2020) he will propose to shareholders that they will send 30 million hryvnias to the state as a dividend.
Experts say that such projections are the highest amounts from any operators of the electricity distribution system with a state shareholding.
According to Kozachuk's statement, the increased profit at Khmelnytskoblenergo was achieved by increasing the efficiency of operating activities, constant 100% implementation of investment programs (modernization of equipment and networks), optimisation and automation of business processes, including personnel management processes, ensuring high-quality electricity metering (installation of electronic meters with differentiated metering), as well as due to the introduction of a competitive procurement system at the enterprise.
